After taste exercise - SNPA

Now that the shitty, not skunked, SNPA has made its way out of Birmingham, AL, I am reunited with my hoppy friend. At any rate, I have drastically cut back on the cigars of late and so I think my sense of taste is coming back into shape. As such, I have noticed something I never noticed in drinking SNPA for the better part of ten years now: an after taste with strong hints of apple. I am not a beer snob, I wouldn't know a cascade hop in the wild from a wet chicken, the gravity of this or the malt content of that, or even if beer is still brewed by magic gnomes in the short forest, but I know that I taste those apples. What do you think?

Regards,

Ben

Cut the cigars out entirely and you will taste even more,

Did you ever take note of the phallic symbolism inherent in the cigar

Do you have to be a snob to educate yourself about beer?

Is that uppity speak for saying a cigar is really a big black c*ck? Nah, I, like Frank Zappa, just like smoking. That, and thick black cups of coffee.

Oh, I'm plenty educated about beer. I know the price of my beer, where to get my beer, it comes in packs of six, I tend to pee more when I drink it, and the fat women look oh-so good when I drink too many.

You don't happen to write slogans on country crap for Crate & Barrel do you?

I have absolutely no idea what that means...and I suspect you really don't either.

Y'know, Ben, if I were you, I wouldn't take too much of this guy's shit.

Just my opinion.

Shit, what can I do - he's a cunning linguist alright. A formidable opposing wordsmith. I'm working on it, though...he won't walk away unscathed.

Yeah, I've sometimes noticed an apple-like fruitiness in SNPA. Also in Ipswich Original Ale.
