Younger's Special Bitter Ale. Nice and malty with, for me, minimal hop presence. Good stuff.
Best regards, Bill
PS: Still waiting on Brutal Bitter and Shakespeare Stout.

Speaking of Rogue..better buy up those bottles of American Amber since they are now illegal and are to be destroyed as ordered by the US Government.
"Given that the flag seems to fly everywhere from men's ties to magnetic ribbons adorning minivans, the brewery had no idea, Joyce said, that it was violating U.S. Code Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8, Item I. In part it reads: "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever."
Although it's fine to fly it above places of business, the code says the flag shouldn't be used for bedding or draperies, shouldn't be embroidered on things such as handkerchiefs or impressed on disposable items, such as paper napkins. No part of the flag, the rules say, should be used as a costume or athletic uniform."
This has got to be an early April Fool's joke or else the ATF agent got a LOT of overtime work coming. She could start with these Budweiser cans:
Or these products:
The American Amber hasn't shown up but I don't favour ambers anyway so no big loss. ;^)
Re that article....wow! TIQFU!

PS: There goes the flag on the bottle for the Stoudt's American Pale Ale.
I usually don't like Ambers as well. But American Amber is extremely delicious IMO.
Yeah American Amber is not your typical training wheels type amber. It's got amazing levels of hop and malt that evolve through the enjoyment of a 22oz bomber. For some reason I haven't seen it in Co but used to drink it quite often in Texas. It is very similar to Santa's Private Reserve - I think the Amercian Amber has more 'oomph' though.

What's weirder is that IIRC the flag bottle came out not long after 9/11 and the guy at my local said to me, that he said the distributor said to him, was that Rogue went through a special process to be allowed to use the flag on the bottle. But I guess not.
To K & R:
Well then...if it shows up I'll give it a try.
Best regards, Bill
