Battle of the Beers 2013: Local brewers face off for 'Best beer in Cincinnati' title

BLUE ASH, Ohio – Wondering which local beer is best? At this Sunday’s Battle of the Beers event in Blue Ash, 35 local draft beers will go head to head for the title of “Best beer in Cincinnati” and it’s up to you to decide. The free event will be held at Firehouse Grill from 12-8 p.m. There, representative from 12 local breweries will share the stories of how they got started and reveal their latest brews. “It’s the ultimate tap takeover,” event organizer Daniel Shatto said in a release. “All 35 taps at the Firehouse Grill will feature local bee.” Draft prices start at $2.50 and beer can be taken home in growlers. Voting for the best beer closes at 5 p.m. Live music by the Turkeys runs from 2-6 p.m. Firehouse Grill is located at 4785 Lake Forest Drive.
