Beer preference

Well. Then I guess you don't really like Andy, do ya? I'm going to tell him, too.

It is useful for finding ABVs, isn't it?

Here or there?

And that's supposed to scare me off, or entice me?

I think you should continue to post here, if anything to remind us of the 2 Ratings that really matter the most, Good or Shite

Both of those sites are way handy tools but... when you're looking for the real meat and potatoes about beer....you come here. Right to this very newsgroup. Alt dot beer. 'nuff said.

Best regards, Bill

No, no, I actually find myself giggling. Slopehead and all, this is the most active we've been in a while.

I think there's a rating for it at Ratebeer.

And, yeah, it's a bit dull to have "discussions" that consist of nothing but "go somehwere else."

I'll at least give credit to a couple guys who will mention the other sites, but still contribute to the discussion here. The others who just pop in to tell people to go elsewhere should probably go elswhere and stay there.

Love to try it. But the Moonraker, Jesus, is that ever fantastic.

Apparently Lees put a bunch of these aside and recently distributed them. I picked up a couple of '88s at Sam's in Chicago about six months ago. Still haven't found an occasion to drink them. Had an '86 last year. FG.

Shit, I tell him every chance I get. The "little" bastard. Doesn't even have a USENET feed.

Hopefully it's correct too. Wouldn't want to pass on incorrect information to my legions of fans.

Both. Duh.

You tell me, big boy.

Damn, Witzel, that's a mean lookin' troll hook you got set out there. You sure it's worth the consequences of landing a full-on Brysonian comeback? Not to mention that I'm tempted to buy a jetBlue el- cheapo R/T to JFK just so's I can come out there and slap you upside the head (after many pints at the Blind Tiger, of course).

Well, NOW he's not going to. Sheesh.

Even so, it was pretty much painful to drink. At least the 1983 Graham port a coworker brought along didn't suck in the least (the shop was out of the 1985).

If you're buying, I can handle the abuse. You probably don't slap as hard as the wife anyhow.

Yes, I'd say they were SHITE, since they lessened perfectly GOOD Harvest Ales. Maybe they've improved in the interim, however; it's possible.

Then stop WASTING the Hirsch, dammit, save it for those of us who DO get it! It's not they're ever going to make more of it... Jesus wept, Dave, it's a finite resource!

(Yes, I know I'm biting at bait and enabling such blatant trolling. Sue me.)

You know, if Hirsch 16 y.o. doesn't do anything for you, you truly never will get bourbon. Ever. So give up, and stick with your peppermint schnapps or whatever was popular at the Duke frat parties.
