What's it like? A typical Asian beer?
Where did you buy it is my next question. I'm always on the lookout for something unusual, but I'm more a fan of British ales. There's a great bottle shop out near Windsor that stocks a fantastic range of British and European beers.

Next time you are in the Dandenongs, go to the Ferny Creek Store. 120
- 150 beers available...and LOT'S of those quirky pommie drops..:>)
Hooroo...
I'm not sure what a typical asian beer is but this tastes very good. I just got back from Laos where I drank a lot of it.
There is a new distributor for this:
Tzovaras Legal, Level 13, 139 Macquarie St Sydney NSW 2000 Tel: (02) 9251 2336
I called them and they delivered the case to my house in Crows Nest (the delivery guy's girlfriend lives 2 blocks from me so it was no trouble for him). If you call them they should be able to let you know a bottle shop which sells this stuff.
I mainly wrote this post for anyone who has been to Laos and has Beerlao cravings (quite common).
And no, I don't work for this company.
Shameless little plug. . . Mr Swooper
However, next time in Vic. (relative in Upwey) I'll try to pop in.
