Busch Light

What are your thoughts on Busch Light. Good beer? Usually what i drink it's cheap. If i go to the bar i usually drink Bud Light on tap.

Not big on 'richer' beers. Tried Guiness once i couldn't drink more then one drink. Too bitter for me, but i know it's considered a 'good' beer, and busch light isn't. I think of busch light like a low quality bud light. But i like, I drink more for buzz not quality. I know some of the best beer conoisseurs only drink a few at a time, but they are very knowledgable on different beers.

how do you consider it trolling. I was asking people's opinion about a beer i drink. And yes some responses would be nice. Sorry i'm not as ritzy and sophisticated as you rich bitch guiness draught type.

Sorry, Bryan, but that's a classic passive/aggressive troll response. Care to come back with something a bit more relaxed and prove you're not a troll?

My thoughts on Busch Light are: not much. Sounds like you feel the same: "a low quality Bud Light." I agree with you, and then some.

I haven't ever had Busch Light.

Maybe you could try a different approach. Guinness has a lot of psychology wrapped up in it for someone not used to darker shades in their beers. It looks big, black, foreboding and not nice and sparklingly fizzy. All that can get in the way and alter the perception of a beer that is really quite tasteless on the whole. Guinness just doesn't have much punch and probably has less alcohol than your Busch Lite... Really! Try this sometime if you are interested in enjoying a wider variety of beers. Find a local brewpub, almost all will offer some sort of sampler - basically 3oz glasses of each beer they make. Now when you try these different beers, don't think of them as beer or you may unconciously compare them all to Busch Lite. Just think of them as different drinks with their own characteristics - if one tastes bitter and grapefruity embrace that! Don't wince in pain because "beer" isn't supposed to taste that way! Try and analyze the flavor rather than rejecting it out of hand. Remember, all refreshment doesn't mean just quenching a thirst.

Oh, and beer "connoisseurs" get plenty buzzed too. Take it from me, some beer geeks may only drink 2 beers but when each of those comes in a 22oz bottle and contains 10% alcohol they are getting buzzed for sure.

My thougths? Totally unintersting and not worth my time or money.

By some. I don't consider it all that good. And it is a bit of a big jump for those used to tasting lighter beers. It's actually pretty light (less alcohol than most light beers), but the roast flavor is a lot for some people.

There's an incredible variety of beer between the two points of Busch Light and Guinness. Randal's suggestion to hit a few brewpubs and try the sampler is a good one.

I guess I'd be considered a connoiseur of beer - I think of myself more as a snob - and while sometimes I do indeed drink just a few, there are also times where I drink gallons (well, liters) of the stuff. All depends on whether I'm concentrating on tasting, or just drinking what I like.

I would expect the composite opinion about Lite Beer on a Beer forum would be roughly the same as Decaf Coffee on a Coffee forum. Why bother...there's not much there.

I have always hoped that one brewer would come up with a Lite, Dry, Nonalcholic Fruit Flavored "Beer", but so far nobody has tried.

You asked for my opinion on the beer you drink and it is as follows: Why bother...there's not much there.
