Good news, if somewhat old. They don't answer the question I still have: when will the beer be available?

Word from the brewery is "after the first of the year." Real Ale, where Pierre is brewing, have just moved into their new, larger brewery, and are trying to deal with the hassles of expansion at the moment. They want everything in place before Pierre comes on line, because they know his beers are going to be watched closely - they want it to be just right. This could put an already excellent brewery into the elite class. They don't want to screw it up.

Good for him. Bad for me. I'll be leaving Texas before the first of the year. Oh well, at least I'll be able to get the usual Real Ale beers.

And I'm always up for a swap for something I can't get. (That's a lot, BTW.) I doubt Real Ale will have much distribution outside Texas, even with the expanded brewery, but there's a chance that Pierre's brews will be more widely available than the rest of the line. As is, they can't keep up with demand for the rest of the line.

Good to hear a success story.
