Chicago O'Hare

Thanks to some out-of-the blue change in flight schedules, I will have to spend 3 instead of 2 hours fiddling my thumbs on Chicago O'Hare airport in April. Is there somewhere a pub on the transit grounds servings something besides BCM-Heineken garbage? If so, can you give me an more or less precise idea where to search for it? Also, can somebody tell me what to do between normal evening hours and

05.00AM, when I have to appear on the Seattle International Airport? (plane leaving 07.10...)

Is this the time to say "I hate to say 'I told you so, but...'" ?

You should've parted with the extra 150 euro for the schedule change.

First, at O'Hare: yeah, there's a place that serves Goose Island somewhere. It's a huge airport. Good luck. Otherwise, O'Hare is a haven of American and international industroswill. You might find a passable serving of Sam Adams somewhere. You'll pay something like US$6.00 for a half-liter. In short, bring something to read.

Second, Seattle: by law, all sales of alcohol beverages must conclude by 2:00 am, and can't resume until 6:00 am the next morning. There are no exceptions. Are you planning on staying up all night and drinking somewhere? Please don't answer "yes." The logical answer to your question is "sleep, because you'll need it."

Yeah, yeah, I know.

Hmmpf. THAT was only for being so good to change. Not for any extra cost...

I've been told since, the Goose I. is between Terminals 1 and 2...

That is my first idea as well, but for the fact that I'll be more tired from too short sleep, than from none. After all, I'll have to fight jetlag anyway... JPP

I can't vouch for anything but Terminals H&K (American Airlines). At the Y where the terminals converge, there's a food court. On the K side is a place called, I think, Prairie Water Tap. It has Honkers. Had a couple of pints (they at least serve Imperials) there just last week.

dave still in austin, where SNCA has now been on tap continuously for 15 months...
