Dogfish Head's Pangea Explosion

I bought DH's Pangea to a party and was pretty disappointed. No matter how carefully you poured the beer, it exploded into foam. There was no beer, just foam. I served it at the recommended temp (cool, not cold) and the bottle indicated it had been brewed in 2004. Anyone bought one of these and actually been able to drink it? leo

I haven't found that Dogfish Head beer yet. I like its name and the idea behind it (an ingredient from every continent).

I've found the Chicory Stout to sometimes be wildly foamy.

The only DH beer I've *really* liked so far is their 60 Minute IPA.

I haven't tried the 60 Minute yet but I found the Indian Brown ale and the

90 minute to be superior examples of their styles.

I like those two. The 60 Minute is closer to getting into my top 24 though.

Got one as a sample from the brewery, had to store it for a month, but no problems when we cracked it. I liked it quite a bit.
