East Coast beers arrived

Nothing like having 3 nice beers after a nice busy shift at work. :^)

First up, New River Pale Ale, brewed and bottled by Old Dominion Brewing for New River Brewing. Bottled on Apr 23, 2004, this is a VERY nice Pale ale..Lew said it was and dammit...he spoketh the trutheth. lol Btw, Rate Beer dot com gave it a 3.88.

Second, a repeat for me, Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale. Also brewed by Old Dominion, for Tupper's Hop Pocket, I first had this one in a Beer of the Month shipment(along with their Pils...very nice, assertive Pilsner) and was quite impressed. This sixer was bottled on Feb 19, 2004 and taste just fine und dandy. Rate Beer gave it a

3.72 and I'd have to say it does deserve a lower rating than the NRPA but both beers...I would *never* kick to the curb.

Third, Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. Ok, I've had the 90 minute numerous times and that one never ceases to amaze me with its flavour so, naturally, I expected the 60 to be a bit less assertive but nonetheless, satisfying. At 6% abv, it really can't be called a true session beer but if it was available in my area, I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I like it. I like it! And the stuff is really fresh..bottled in April 2004. Rate Beer rating: 3.76

I'm leaving my 2 Victory Grand Cru bottles alone for now. To age.
