Factory Bought Beer?

Hello to all,

Does anyone know where I can buy beer directly from the factory? Someone I know had a tour of the Olympia Brewery in the state of Washington years ago. After the tour you could buy the fresh beer there. I don't want to buy from a mico-brewery and have to pay $5.00 a bottle.

I live in Anaheim California. Does anyone know of any place close or within a half hour drive?

Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Jeb

Well, I wouldn't pay $5 for a bottle of micro either. You can get a six pack of Stone Brewery for around $7.50 at any upscale liquor store. I know they have it at Beverages and More. There is one in Brea and another in Orange. Or if you want to take a road trip south the Stone Brewery is in San Marcos, near Oceanside. They make some of the best beers in the world and they don't cost a fortune.

Oh come on, if the price of a 22er of Ruination or Arrogant Bastard went up to $5 each, you wouldn't buy any??? Be honest now and no, I'm not trying to be antagonistic. ;^)

Well, I wouldn't. At least not Arrogant Bastard. But that's because I'm not going to buy AB in the first place. Quite possibly the most overrated beer on the planet.

I agree with the Fat Tire being....at least one of "them" The other New Belgium beers more than make up for it.

Is it the initials that turns you off? Just kidding....your input here is highly regarded by myself and many others.

Well, yeah. In general, price is not much of a motivating factor for me one way or another when it comes to beer.

And, the comment was more about Bastard than bombers and prices. You're a smart boy, would have thought you would have figured that out.

Knew someone would say that. Had a good suspicion it would be you, actually.
