saw the dude eat up 66 hot dogs, just wonderin' why Beer isn't represented in such a contest, I reckon it's cause it's alcohol, done answered my own question, whatever!

66 beers in 12 minutes? Now that would be worth watching! After all those dogs, maybe they don't have room for a cold beer-it would take up a little more space than water I guess. Cheers!

The barely intelligible message notwithstanding, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is not a trolling message.
What could possibly be the attraction of binge consumption of hot dogs or beer. It really ends up being a contest to see who can hold out the longest before vomiting up partially digested hot dogs and buns or beer onto the ground and covering ones self in the process. Some festival holds a japapeno eating conttest which is truly idiotic.
College kids and others with an adolescent mentality go for funnel and tube consumption of cheap beer and manage to kill a few in the process.
I think most of us would much prefer to enjoy a good beer with a good hot dog.
