Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run Returns for Oktoberfest Zinzinnati Weekend
Race set for Saturday, September 22 from the Christian Moerlein Lager
House

CINCINNATI -- The Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run returns to kick off
Oktoberfest Zinzinnati weekend on Saturday, September 22 at 8 a.m.
with a new start and finish line along with a larger post-race party
space.

Some 3,000 participants are already registered and registration is
still open. To register, visit www.hudepohl14kbreweryrun.com. Race day
registration also is available at the Moerlein Lager House.

While the course remains basically the same through Over-the-Rhine and
past Cincinnati Heritage Brewing sites, the start and finish will be
at the Moerlein Lager House in the Smale Riverfront Park.

The 14K map is at http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/113952655 and
the map for the corresponding 7K event is at
http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/113957027.

The 14K and 7K Brewery Run also marks the start of a new strategic
alliance between the Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run and the Cincinnati
Flying Pig Marathon. The alliance will focus on shared resources
between the two organizations to better enhance both runner and
spectator experiences during each race’s events, including course
management and entertainment.

The Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run is a one of a kind event offering runners
and walkers the opportunity to race a new distance, explore a new
course, dress as a 6-pack or 3-way tethered costume and learn a bit of
Cincinnati’s brewing history.

Registration fees range between $45 and $55 depending on distance and
include a Brewery Run technical shirt, post-race party, awards
presentation for each race and age group along with best 6-pack, 3-way
and individual costume. Every finisher receives an official Hudepohl
14K Brewery Run pint glass, a commemorative participation medal and
official race poster from local artist Jim Effler, who will be on hand
race morning to sign his posters.

The event benefits the Over-the-Rhine Brewery District Community Urban
Redevelopment Corporation (Brewery District) and Give Back Cincinnati.
The Brewery District will allocate 100% of their donation to the
development and sustainability of a Cincinnati Brewing Heritage Trail.
