Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run Returns for Oktoberfest Zinzinnati Weekend Race set for Saturday, September 22 from the Christian Moerlein Lager House

CINCINNATI -- The Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run returns to kick off Oktoberfest Zinzinnati weekend on Saturday, September 22 at 8 a.m. with a new start and finish line along with a larger post-race party space.

Some 3,000 participants are already registered and registration is still open. To register, visit

While the course remains basically the same through Over-the-Rhine and past Cincinnati Heritage Brewing sites, the start and finish will be at the Moerlein Lager House in the Smale Riverfront Park.

The 14K and 7K Brewery Run also marks the start of a new strategic alliance between the Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run and the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. The alliance will focus on shared resources between the two organizations to better enhance both runner and spectator experiences during each race’s events, including course management and entertainment.

The Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run is a one of a kind event offering runners and walkers the opportunity to race a new distance, explore a new course, dress as a 6-pack or 3-way tethered costume and learn a bit of Cincinnati’s brewing history.

Registration fees range between $45 and $55 depending on distance and include a Brewery Run technical shirt, post-race party, awards presentation for each race and age group along with best 6-pack, 3-way and individual costume. Every finisher receives an official Hudepohl

14K Brewery Run pint glass, a commemorative participation medal and official race poster from local artist Jim Effler, who will be on hand race morning to sign his posters. The event benefits the Over-the-Rhine Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (Brewery District) and Give Back Cincinnati. The Brewery District will allocate 100% of their donation to the development and sustainability of a Cincinnati Brewing Heritage Trail.
