JW Dundee Pale Ale

Just saw this one(and bought it) for the first time. I do not like their honey amber but this pale ain't half bad. Good malt dominated taste at a pretty cheap price. I also saw a lager of theirs at the store...I might try that next.

Best regards, Bill

PS: btw, I grabbed the 3 bottles(120z) of Rogue Imperial IPA they had...only US$2.79 a bottle, and another bottle of Grotten Brown.:^)

Those showed up here last year, a Pale Ale and Amber lager next to the Honey Brown. Thought both were just a tad above average but clearly better than the Honey Brown.

They're doing much ballsier stuff these days thanks to a new brewer they hired. They're doing some draft-only batches that are excellent: a ringingly hopped IPA and a Pale Bock that was smooth as glass. Nice beers.

Yeah, the Honey Brown is just so damn lifeless yet you can find it on tap at a couple of joints in Casper.

Is this new brewer someone hired away from another brewery or someone who started off as a homebrewer?

Hired from somewhere else, can't remember off the top of my head where, though.
