Michelob Wheat Beer Availability

Does anyone know if this beer, which is currently part of the Michelob sampler box, will be sold separately at retail?

Thanks.

Have you actually tasted the beer? I'm hoping Michelob brewed a Hefe Weizen that tastes like one.

Yes, tried it, liked it. I'm no expert, but I thought it was by far the best in the box.

I'll keep an eye out for that box. Thanks.

What other specialty beers did they put in the box ?

I have heard that A.B. is coming out with a stout.

They've been marketing their "Bare Knuckles Stout" for several years now, a draft-only beer out of their NH brewery. (I had a [free] glass of it in NJ, back in 2003.)

Seem to recall it being a kinda "Guinness Lite"- tho' it would probably satisfy the casual Guinness drinker- they had the color down, if not the taste. I remember thinking I was glad I didn't have to pay for it... (I did sort of like that high gravity Brewmasters Reverse they put out last Christmas. The first A-B product I liked since the day (circa

1976) I rented an apartment in LA and celebrated with 16 oz. cans of Busch Bavarian and corn nuts (both "exotic" items for a NJ-ian at the time).

I had a draught sample of it, not knowing where it hailed from, and found it a light, slightly better than average stout. Seems fair. Joris
