My beer turned weird.

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes from one day to the next, bottles from the same six-pack seem to taste very different. I've very much enjoyed Wild Goose oatmeal stout, it has a rich flavor with very little burnt taste, and a nicely sweet finish (the label says a dry finish, but what the heck). But when I popped open the last of the six-pack tonight, I thought it tasted kind of like bacon. I never know if it's something with the beer itself, or if my taste just turns weird for some reason.

Depends on what tastes you've got in your mouth from your last meal/drink. In wine tasting, small amounts of cheese and crackers are often used between each tasting to neutralise the taste buds. You may want to try something similar. Steve W

It's PROBABLY you...but not certainly. Your sense of taste is subject to a lot more variables than the six bottles in a six-pack: illness, fatigue, what you ate, when you brushed your teeth, what the smells are in the air, and more. It could be the beer, but it's not as likely.
