Best regards, Bill
I like each of those. It's been a few years since I've encountered the distinctive white bottles Gulden Draak comes in. I remember the brew as strong, brown and very sweet.
Grant's Hopzilla is plenty hoppy but strikes me as a bit light-bodied and low in alcohol for an IPA.
You'll like that one. Did they perchance have the Hop Rod Rye available?
The only one I've had before is the Racer 5 and that one was delish.

We have some Duinens in town(also in white bottles) but I've read really good things about this one.
I've never been that big of a fan of Grants and I'm hop(p)ing this one will satisfy me. Ok. I tell a lie. I thought their Perfect Porter was pretty f'n good.
I bought that one a couple of years ago and it *did* leave a most favourable impression on me. ;^)

Yes they do. Dang it. I had intended to give that one a go.
light-bodied
Yeah, I sampled several of the Grant's beers (incluing their Scottish Ale, IPA and a summer beer) recently, and the Perfect Porter was by far my favorite. It was tasty and quaffable.
Matt from Liquid Solutions called(I missed it) to say that the Hopzilla was out of stock so first thing Monday, I'm gonna call him and replace that with a bottle of Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye and a bottle of St. Bernadus Triple.

Much better choices. Thought the Hopzilla sucked, frankly, and I rarely say that about an IPA. Was bitter in a "nothing vaguely floral, fruity, or piney, just harshly bitter" way. Hop Rod Rye, OTOH, is spectacular stuff.
