Sam Adams White Ale, Breckenridge American Hefe, Teton Workhorse Wheat

No winners here, folks. All too smooth and unimpressive.

So, now that I've what's left of the weekend for myself...I'm sipping on an Aventinus. All is good again.

You know, along with Hoegaarden I've noticed that my old friend Aventinus is scandalously overpriced here in Colorado. I used to shell out $2.50 for .5 liter but around here it's mostly over $4.00!! I still think this may be liquor stores - I guess they don't have the same buying power as a big grocery chain like Whole Foods or Central Market (HEB). I never -- NEVER would have thought that on my trips back to Dallas I would be stocking up on beer ;-)

the price of Aventinus and all of Schinder products has gone up in New Jersey by almost 25% since Jan 2004 I have had drop them from my product line because sales have dropped so much (from 1 to 3 cases a week) to less the a case a month. It may be great beer but most people don't seem to think it is worth the price.

The Aventinus runs US$3.31 & tax(5%) here. Hoegaarden goes for+US$9 a sixer. At those prices, I'll buy 'em. I won't be buying any of the beers in the subject header again, though.
