Hey, I like this year's summer seasonal from Matt X!

I'll give them credit for using a fruit other that, AFAIK, hasn't been done in beer before.

Well, there's ORIGIN from Shmaltz- tho' I haven't seen it on the shelf yet.

Bought the Saranac yesterday, but drank the new canned Weiss from Sly Fox last night. I still haven't seen the Saranac Imperial IPA yet in NJ, tho'.

I think tart fruits work best with beer (I actually *liked* SA Cranberry (not) Lambic when it first came out- tho' felt it's more appropriate as a summer beer, than a Winter beer -cranberry tradition and harvest time not withstanding).

That should work well with a wheat beer.

I have one in the fridge; haven't tried it yet... Found it at a Binny's here in the NW suburbs of Chicago.

First I knew of was Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat from Fort Collins Brewing (someone else mentioned FCB, but not the beer's name).

Well, saw the ORIGIN on the shelf yesterday and saw that Shmaltz also had released a SECOND pomegranate beer - >

passed on both, since they had Brooklyn Local #1 in quantity and I already had 5 of the Saranacs sitting around- waiting for nice weather to come back to the East Coast...
