What is the definition of "session beer"? A search on Google shows many examples of session beers but what exactly is a session beer?
Thanks, Eugene

A beer that you could drink a lot of at one sitting. A mild would be a good example. A barleywine is not.

I define it as any brew that I can sit down and enjoy one after the other, within reason, without getting shitfaced .(yes, there *is* a limit, even for me. lol)

Btw, here's an interesting interpretation of what a session beer is:
Best regards again, Bill
Interesting, and wrong. But that's Epinheads for you-- he trusts everybody in the circle, they all trust him (lrf tnat, vapyhqrq [] naq []', naq rira orresyl), so everything and anything is accepted as "Very Helpful" even when it's wrong.
That guy was way off.

Ovgr zr. I never trusted [] on epinions, I just made the mistake of believing what he told me to my face, in person, over what you and Broolz were saying on the Net. Okay, so he DID look like a Nazi genetics project gone bad, you wore pink shirts, and Broolz...well, you remember what he was like when he was posting. Golly. I was on epinions for one reason: to fix my writing style after it had been damaged by Beer & Tavern Chronicle. And it worked. I don't think I ever "made" more than about $160 total off the site. [] must be making that much every month. Yow.
I had a better opinion (heh) of Mike Doyle than this piece would indicate, though. That certainly is an 'interesting' interpretation of session beer.
