I'm sipping on my last bottle. Damn good stuff...I like how both the hops and malt are really big and work well together.
Maybe I should have saved it for Thursday as we're supposed to get some snow. Oh well...:^)

As a full-on hophead, I agree. This beer is/was humongous. Well balanced, huge profile, great head, nice lace, gorgeous color, and just a real work of artful brewing. One of the best I've ever had. The 10% ABV is sneaky as hell too. The other night I shared a bomber with three beer maven friends and by consensus it held its own with Three Floyds Dreadnought Imperial (which was my first time with it and I thought it otherworldly good), Moylan's Hopsicle, and a fourth exquisite bomber whose name I forget. (Sleighor something?) A good time was had by all hopheads.
Problem: I understand Stone only shipped 750 cases to No California, where I live. What do them So Cal rebs have against us northerners? Sheesh!
We have Russian River Brewing Co up here and their stunning Pliny the Elder, so nyah on the Sandiegans.
