Terminal Gravity IPA in bottles

Just a heads up, (I've ordered 12 bottles) but a good friend of mine says it is the shit on tap and, hopefully, the quality in the bottle will be at least close:

It's been available in bottles for some time. Saw some at one of the local kick-ass markets here in Portland (Market of Choice), but didn't pick any up. Pretty much everything I've tasted from TG has been great.

The bottles and six pack design look nothing like the tap handles. Actually, the new labels look something like you'd fine on a Zima.

I'd have to say that TG IPA is about the best IPA I've ever tasted. Of course, tastes vary, but holy shit, it's good stuff!

The shipment came in today and all I can say is O M G!! Wonderful grapefruit flavour up front and yes, I can taste some great malt tones. A VERY firm 2 thumbs up!

I can't believe how different it is from other IPAs I love, like DFH 60 & 90 Minute, Rockies Mojo, Stone, etc. The only one that bares any resemblance to this one is the Bridgeport.

:^) Just goes to show you that a great IPA doesn't have to be 100IBUs. Btw, I get a kick out of their "Live Beer" on the label.

Ok, I just found a site that said it's around 85IBUs....I'd not have guessed that.

I just had to weigh in on this one. This beer is awesome! Really meaty, like an high quality IPA you might get from a brewers tap. Not too bitter at all like most IPA's, in fact if it didn't say IPA I wouldn't have guessed. I cant remember what the requirements are to call a beer an IPA, but I thinks this beer is cheating somehow. Frankly it somehow reminded me of a barley style low on the alcohol, but, I only had one bottle, hard to say why.

P.S. Thanks to Bill for sharing.

I wouldn't mind at all..... if I get to buy at least half! BTW you said that the Dale's PA might not be great if I saved it for next summer, had a few the other night, they seem milder, and maltier or maybe I just got used to the Mojo?
