Two pubs in Greenich Village, NY

I met a friend in the city this past Saturday and we walked down to the village and had drinks at a brew pub and luch at another place. The latter is Fiddlesticks, an Irish pub located at 56 Greenich Ave, and which had a good selection of beers and eats. I had the Boddingtons on tap. They have a web page at

The other place is the Greenwich Brewing Company, a micro brewery at

418 6th Ave at 9th. Their own "on draught" selection is

Roaring Red, Buzzing Blond, Stout, Harvest Berry Ale, Pale Ale/ESB, Pilsner, Hefe-Weizen, and Seasonal. They also have Guiness Stout, Stella Artois, and a "rotating" on tap. I had their Stout, and they are definately worth another visit.
