I like Budvar or the real Budweiser from Budjovicky, Czech Republic.

Try a Dinkel Acker CD pils. It's an excellent Pilsner in my opinion. Fresh, floral hops, golden clear with a super head. Man, I need to find some more.
Also, Prima Pils from Victory is a very good American version.
So do I, but they aren't pilseners are they?

They?
Best regards, Bill
It, sorry. Silly me. I was in Budejovice last year too. Haha.
Tried Zlatopramen (spelling?)? It seems to be the only other Czech beer I can find around the place here. Nothing to write home about.

Depends on how one wants to define it. Literally speaking, only beers brewed in Plzn are pilsners, but that ship sailed about 125 years ago now.
The profile of Budvar fits pretty closely to the generally accepted profile of Bohemian pilsners. What other style would you call it if not pilsner?

The Konig pilsner poured Saturday afternoons at Laschet's Inn in Chicago. By far.
