After enjoying some fruit beers from Sam Smiths I visited Stamford yesterday to see if I could get into the Melbourn Brothers brewery there which is mentioned on the bottles as the source of the beers.
I had been there before when it was a quaint brewery museum (many years ago).
Does any one know if the Stamford brewery is still open to visits. It certainly looks in tip top condition from the outside.

no, as I found out when I tried the cherry one in their Peterborough pub (Wortley Almshouses) a few months back - bit sickly & not much cop really, whereas I quite liked the Melbourn Bros ones. cheers MikeMcG
