an ex-employee told me today that the receivers had been given a few weeks to try to find new owners & that this seemed not now to have happened. MikeMcG

Thanks for that, Brett. I'd heard rather more than I posted, but there's nothing worse than spreading dodgy stories about a company's well being so I kept it fairly low key. Pity it was true - I'm very partial to Archers Golden :-( IIRC they own a pub or two, so you can pretty well imagine what's going to happen...
