FFS - women specific beer!

Tried Harry's Beer at the Crescent in Salford and found it sweet and sickly. I prefer a beer that grabs you by the throat. I'm an old tart too!

Thanks for sparing me that experience!

Harry herself was s'posed to be giving a talk/tasting at a v well- attended women-only real ale promoting evening as part of the Liverpool beerfest earlier in the month - apparently due to some train- related hold up, she didn't make it, but her Mum did! (I don't know how that bit of the night went, but 130 women, many of whom hadn't drunk RA before & the feedback seemed to be very positive, from the severa I spoke to).

After all that still I forgot to get a taste of the beer, though - my favourite of those I did try was the superb DarkStar Hophead. I quite like Hanby beers & am intrigued to taste it. cheers MikeMcG

It is not compulsory to be an old tart to drink at the Crescent.
