In Denial

No. I just tire of silly little boys like you. I was making an observation that's all. I certainly could not care less what you make of it.

On what basis do you make the assumption that I don't know it is primarily a workplace ban?

In fact it is actually and entirely a workplace ban AFAIK.

Indeed - so why the hoohah now about the ban being extended to pubs?

I think people who can ignore all the publicity around the ban are hardly likely to take notice of a poster on a pub wall!!!

Agreed.

They may even attract new

Agreed.

This discussion is becoming too abstruse and erudite for me to follow.

gavin ( snipped-for-privacy@cosmicdancer.freeserve.co.uk) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

It isn't being "extended to pubs". It's being extended to *all* workplaces.

So pubs aren't workplaces now then???? Flipping heck!

No, I don't think so. I like to see what nonsense you post, based on your deep ignorance.

If you two children must throw toys at each other, can you possibly do it somewhere else please?

Oh I don't know, the view from the cheap seats is quite entertaining:)

The point to me is that Gavin reckons he can just be deliberately obtuse at the expense of others without actually contributing anything useful. I see Alex has a lot of forbearance for this kind of nonsense and tried to reason with the guy. As far as I can see it isn't getting him anywhere.

I too tried to be helpful at the beginning of this thread, but sometimes it isn't worth the bother when you are deliberately misunderstood.

Maybe you'd be better looking up his usenet record? He has contributed nothing of value to ukfdra. Ever. Peter

You know I've got the patience of a saint:) I think your mistake was to think you could get somewhere with him, and when you realised that was impossible, frustration set in. I, on the other hand, realing he was being "delibrately obtuse" ( in joke for long time ukfdra readers) was quite happy to continue. Being proud to have been labelled "unreasonably determined" by reactionary elements on this very group, I'm quite content to continue to fight on the high ground. Don't tell him, but I think I'm good for another 16 posts yet.

Trying to be helpful is always a mistake on this group:)

Yes whilst I see you are 7th in the all time list. Congrats! But please stop posting on this topic-I was only 1 behind you for this month and this is my chamce to fulfil a lifetime ambition and overtake you!

Just giving my opinion as you are. I didn't realise you were that arrogant that you could now say who is also to post what and where.
