Manchester Beer and Cider Festival

Did anyone on this ng visit MBCF at its new venue this year? Any comments?

I ask as a volunteer at the event, who only really experienced Friday night and Saturday afternoon. And different people have different expectations of festivals.

Sorry, no. I had intended to go, as the new location is much more convenient, and TBH I found the cycling quite distracting.

One interesting bonus from booking Manchester Central is a time lapse video . This shows (very rapidly) the process of setting up, drinking up, and tak ing down. Eight days of work are condensed into five and a bit minutes. Her e's the link: .

{Every night you'll see something that looks a giant paintbrush going over the floor. It is of course a cleaning machine.}

I see they managed to russle up a few more tables on the 3rd day! Spacing out the bench tables might be a thought for next year.

If the finances allow it, I think we'll be taking more space next year. What you see in the video is only half the hall.
