I can't see any problem with two third pint measures. Nobody's suggesting that the new measure will replace the pint and it simply gives people more choice - in which case, consultation seems somewhat superfluous.
This is particularly true of stronger beers where a half might not be quite enough, and a pint just a little too much. I'd certainly use two third measures for things like Thornbridge Jaipur.
Would you care to explain what it is to which you refer?
Seems like a sneak method of upping prices by selling in smaller measures.
If they're going to allow more measure sizes then allowing litre sizes for continental lagers might be a start.
in Germany the litre is not the usual size, they sell in 0.2 . 0.4 0.5 & litres depending which part the country you are in
