[Vaguely OT] New postage stamps commemorate pub signs

This may be of some slight interest to the group: Royal Mail are issuing a series of stamps featuring British pub signs. They come out on 12th August.

The 1st class stamp features "The Station" (originally in Thurnscoe, Yorkshire). The E class stamp features the "Black Swan". The 42p stamp features "The Cross Keys" (originally in south west London). The 47p stamp features "The Mayflower" (originally in Southsea, Hants). The 68p stamp features "The Barley Sheaf" (originally in Bodmin, Cornwall).

As usual there's a first day cover, a presentation pack and "stamp cards" (postcards with bigger versions of the picture on the stamp). You can also ask for a special postmark from the Cross Keys, Hereford.

More details at (this site has some very odd coding though and won't work in all browsers).
