Just saw the new IC aluminum bottle

It's a nice looking package. Everything is local. The bottle Alcoa, the ink is PPG, The coating on the label is Velspar and the contents are Iron City. All made in the Pittsburgh area. And a case is a little over $16 with tax which ain't bad, about two bucks more than the IC in regular cans.

Is the new cap one of those old-style crown caps, or is it resealable? It would seem to lose some of the advantage of keeping the beer cold longer, if you can't reseal it.

You said "all made in the Pittsburgh area"....that is not true however. The aluminum used in the cans is not made in the Pittsburgh area, Alcoa does not make any aluminim in the Pittsburgh area any more.
