New York City bars

Hi guys!

A couple of very good friends of mine over here in Yorkshire are flying to NYC on Monady for a few days. They're both big real ale fans.

Which bars should they visit? I'm thinking in terms of beers from U.S. micros.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers!

Alex is a Brit who lives in NYC and is mad about cask. His site will give them details on where to find good cask ale in NYC.

You should also let them know (if they don't already) that the US isn't absolutely ga-ga over cask ales, so many very fine craft-brewed beers are available in bottles and in kegs.

A great place to start is this website:

Click on New York, look under Beer Bars, and try places that are highly rated by other maniacs like us.

That's fine. I don't have a problem with live keg beers, so long as they're good, and I doubt they will.

I'll pass the tip on.

Thanks.

Yes. I'm just doing my part. Alex's site is a good piece of the pie. And one I can point people too without stirring up things politically.
