Redhook Hoptoberfest in Pittsburgh

I found it today for $2.50 a pint at Kazansky's on Murray Ave in Squirrel Hill.

I'm finding it a disappointing year for Oktoberfests. Penn is up to its usual standard, but the Church and Rock Bottom fest beers seem a bit thin. Great Lakes and Redhook are okay, but not exceptional, and Sierra Nevada tasted more like a hoppy amber than a marzen. The Sharp Edge had Ayinger and Spaten, but they want $6.75 for a pint of Ayinger, which puts the limit at 1 for this year. Still, this is my favorite time of year for beer tasting.
