Me and my mate reckon the new Tuborg brewed in New Zealand is the best beer around and all you other guys are just dreamin!!!!

I don't recall any beer of great significance ever coming from New Zealand. In fact Steinlager is the only New Zealand beer I can think of right now. Sounds like they live in a beer dessert.

One of the worst beers I ever tried used to be available at Trader Joe's but thankfully no longer. It was Export Gold from New Zealand. Apparently I'm not the only one:

They used to have a beer called Speights The saying was "drink Speights lose your mates" Not sure if they drank it for dessert.... Monteith beers from NZ are now appearing in Australia - I tried the dark porter and wasn't that impressed. rb
