Where can I get ale and beer recipes?

I've worked in the Puget Sound area several years ago and enjoyed Mac N Jack when out. Also enjoyed Thomas Kemper Berryweizen and also the TK Heif. Where is a good place to go to find what yeast hops malts and the like are used by them in order to make a good home brew. I guess we are talking on the 6 gallon level here. I'm new to brewing but I have come to an impasse. I just can't take the swill they have down here in Texass.

TIA

Wander on over to rec.crafts.brewing, which is the newsgroup dedicated to brewing, with probably 90 percent of the discussion centered around homebrewing.

You also might want to check out

for a discussion board and an email list, respectively, as well as links to other homebrewing sites, etc. I know the Brewery has a recipe list; can't recall for HBD.

And if you are in Texas seek out Whole Foods or Central Market - no swill to be found there but lots of awesome imports & micros.
