2nd Stage Started Bubbling??

Hello, After tranfering to 2nd stage i had no activity for 9 days and was clearing great.. I got home from work on the 10th day and my vapor lock was bubbling.. All the Co2 bubbles are coming from the settlement.. Its been 5 days and the lock is still bubbling 1 every 5 min.. There is no direct sunlight and temp has been a constant 67-68 degress F.. Should i go ahead and bottle or wait?? Any help on understanding on whats happening would be great.. I'm a newbie and learning as i go.. Thank you all..

Bottom line is to get a hydrometer and use it! Measure it over about 3 days and if the gravity is still dropping, it isn't finished. If the gravity is stable, then the bubbles are just escaping gas from somewhere.

Thanks.. I do have a hydrometer and use it.. On racking day it was 1.012 and was 1.010 on the 8th and 9th day.. Was going to give it about 2-3 more day then check it again.. If it was still at 1.010 i was going to bottle.. I checked the gravity this afternoon before work (16th day) it's still at

1.010 and still bubbling once every 5 min.. But like i said on the 10th day the settlement started to produce bubbles.. Didn't know if this was normal or did some phonomena start happening?? Want to learn before a mistake happens.. Probley going to bottle tomarrow after another sg check.. Thanks again.. If anyone else has something to add that would be great.. TIA

It sounds like you have it all covered. There is the very remote possibility that some sort of bacterial fermentation picked up, but that is unlikely and you would clearly notice it in the taste (sour, probably).

The behavior doesn't sound exactly normal, but it is probably just residual CO2 clearing out, just late for some undetermined reason (atmospheric pressure drop or something :).
