Advice needed - Coopers Canadian Blond

Hi all

Just had a go a "Coopers Canadian Blond", first time this brew. Whilst bottling there was a lot more froth than I am used to seeing, had to let it settle and top up each bottle individually.

Other than being a very minor pain, I am concerned this maybe an indication that the brew has been contaminated or some such thing I should know about.

Anyone had similar experiences or can offer advice?

Thanks

Ian

Hi

I was told "cooper's yeasts" have a wide temp range for start fermenting & the advantage is you have a leeway with starting temperatures, but disadvantage in 'supposedly' lower quality beer. ( not IMHO ).

Depends on individual taste.

Did you test S.G before bottling. Local Hbrew barn recommends that you get the same S.G. reading two days in a row before you bottle.
