The Coopers Australian Pale Ale (Green label) is very good on its own with a rew booster or similar mixture. Good for the Aussie Summer.

If you live in Melbourne, there are a few homebrewing shops. One of them in Bentleigh off Centre Rd close to VicRoad. They sell lots of beers with recipes. Coopers Pale Ale is not too bad, and you can use it a base to make a better beer. Ask at any homebrewing shop.

I often make up a recipe with two of those cans and around 20g of hops pellets when I'm in a hurry and haven't got the time for a partial mash. Most of the time I use either cascade or saaz but other aromatic hops should suffice. Boil the can contents and enough water to get the wort nice and thin (2 litres should do it) for 5 minutes, add the hops and boil for another 5 minutes, if you want to boost the hops aroma of the finished beer add another 20g at then end of the boil and let the wort sit for a minute or two while its cooling down. Transfer to your fermenter, top up to 23l (5 gal) with cold water and pitch your yeast.
