Boring beer

I've managed to make a terribly boring beer that has more in common with soda water than beer. It was supposed to be a honey wheat but I did not use enough honey or enough barley malt.

Has anyone got any suggestions (other than to tip it down the sink) as to what I could do with this keg?

Offer it to people who like bud/schlitz/pabst/coors/rainier/etc? Wait for a hot day and serve it very cold? Mix in lemon oil and call it "Hard Lemonade"? Serve it a half-hour into a party after the good stuff's used up? Use it to clean your bathtub? Build an illegal distillery and make moonshine?

Good luck, anyway!

hmm, that sounds like a winner of an idea...

use it in a recipe for a small "kick". It won't be the same as using an IPA or something, but it may enhance some bbq, chili or marinade.

Not likely, it has virtually zero flavour, just yellow and bubbles, sounds a bit like a VB doesn't it :)

Brew a batch of something and blend them.

Save it for the dog. Mine will drink just about anything and like it.

I'd use it in place of water on the next batch.

Could you really do that?

I don't see why not but there's only one way to find out!

If you don't mind boiling away every bit of the alcohol in it, and with it already watery to begin with, what's the point. Also, if you use it as water and brew a new batch in it, you fully commit yourself. But if you blend, you can test the blending with a small sample, and even experiment a little. Forget using it to boil, and blend instead.
