Bottling after kegging

I have brewed a rather strong flavoured stout that I don't really like, I have a couple of friends that like it though. Is there a way that I can transfer this beer from the corny keg that it is presently in to bottles?

The only way I can think of is to release all of the keg CO2 pressure, re-prime the beer and bottle it.

Unless of course there is someone near Croydon, Victoria who wants to trade my keg for one of theirs :)

I have one word for you: counterpressurebottlefiller. (Ok, I know it's supposed to be three. :)

A counter-pressure bottle filler will allow you to carbonate your beer before bottling it, without loosing a heap when it goes into the bottles.

Can I suggest you have a chat to your local HB shop.

There is also a thread on

concerning them.
