Bud Aluminum Bottles, has anyone tried these yet for bottling?

I have started seeing a lot of the new 16 ounce aluminum bottles around. I notice that they have a pry off lid rather than a screw off top. A standard (Brewers best) cap seems to fit them just like a 12 ounce glass long neck. Has anyone tried bottling with these yet?

Haven't seen one yet, but I'm dying to hear if they are useable!

I have tried to re-cap them and with a bench capper they work, I haven't tried refilling them, I would think that the cleaning salutions would oxidize the aluminum.

The can is almost surely coated in some way. Most all cans are these days.

I may not be the brights bulb on the porch, but, if they work, clean them with something that wont oxidize them.

And so what if it did?
