My latest 5-gallon(UK) batch of homebrew (a typical British bitter around 4.5%) has very nearly fermented out and is soon to be kegged (probably Sunday or Monday).
However, a couple of days ago, I visited a (highly reputable) homebrew shop and was sold some "Brewferm" "Hoparoma" tablets which apparently originate in Belgium and according to the shop are "the latest bees knees for dry hopping".
The instructions (and the shop) say merely pop a quarter of a tablet into 5 gallons of homebrew for a superb result.
Has anybody used these dryhopping tablets and are they any good or should I throw them away and revert to the old-fashioned "throw a handful of hops into the barrel" method?
