English bitter, beer kits, yeast

I started making beer with the Brewmaker kit for Yorkshire bitter, and Id like to make some more but theyve stopped distributing these kits in Canada. Can you order them by mail in North America? I did a search in Google, but I could find them only in the UK.

Are there other kits that make a beer like the Brewmaker Yorkshire bitter? I tried some Muntons kits for Yorkshire bitter but the beer was undrinkable. It had no flavor except maybe of malt and an sour, acidic aftertaste. I guess it wasnt all infected because I tried it again after it had been sitting in the cellar for about nine months and the acidity was almost gone. Id like to make a bitter with a dry fruity, nutty flavor and not to much taste of malt. For comparison, I find that John Smith's is OK but Adnam's is better.

Ive got some of the Muntons kits left so I thought that it maybe would be worth trying them with some different yeast. I used the yeast that came with the kit. Is there somewhere that I could get ahold of the yeast thats in the Brewmaker Yorkshire bitter kit? What other yeasts are know to make this kind of beer?

Thank you for any help that you can give me.

Sam

I would recommend the John Bull brand. I'm currently drinking their best bitter and it's selling like hot cakes here in NZ. I've heard second hand that it's heaps better than Muntons. You can buy it in the US - not sure about Canada I suggest you do a search on google or similar search engine. Cheers.
