Has anyone made this and tried it? Or any of the other ESB range? Any comments?

I am currently brewing the one named in the topic. I have tried the Nut Brown Ale and that was really really nice. Which ones have you tried Rob?

I am not advertising I am discussing beer which I thought this place was for. I was asking peoples opinions on this range and what they have tried for the exchange of thoughts and knowledge. I am happy to hear about other kits if you know any that stand out.

I thought the ESB Wheat was a little dark for my liking.

I wouldnt mind giving that one a go.

Down at a lowenbrow in the Rocks here in sydney they have wheat beer and they add a little Mango flkavor to it when they serve it. I tell you what it may be a "girly" man beer but it is probably one of the best styles I have tried.

My mate is always trying to get me into the Lowenbrau at the Rocks. I like wheat beers, but the ESB was just a bit dark for my liking. I will stick with my own all grain recipe methinks.

2kg Pilsner 2.5kg Wheat 66C for 60 minutes Batch sparged 60 minute boil 25g Halertau 5.5% 60 minutes Safale K-97 frmo a starter.

hi chris didn't try it, but will look the brew shop and see what they got. it does sound familiar. Got a few projects of my own doubt ya got access to it but am making my 3rd batch of canadian adventure ale.

4 pounds.1.8 kilo. very nice by itself. but experimenting as i do added some golds hops and will, go completely overboard on my cooking, cuz it is just a good thing. i am in alberta, so me getting a brew kit is just silly. this is the bread basket of the world, and i usually mill my own mash and make my own dark/ light malt, as i please, but i like this one. if i create a final product i will advertise like hell. most of the people around here can't figure out how to wash a bottle. but the best barley in the world comes out of alberta. i do not think i have a problem well maybe i do have a few dozen friends i would not mind selling off. well, the ones who show up with a thirst and no product, anyway.
