Getting rid of beer smell - overflow (Again)

Whoops.....my 17 month hit the send button on previous empty post.

Anyway some time ago I managed to overflow a batch of brewing beer in a closet, on the carpet. Getting rid of the remaining smell hasn't been easy. Any ideas? I've tried Freebreeze so far with little effect.

try oxyclean or Chlorox oxygen action, this has worked for me in the past. Rob

I know that when my dog got sprayed by a skunk vinegar + water worked great for removing the odor. I see no reason why vinegar wouldn't work in this case.

go get a carpet cleaner machine clean your home carpets first, since EVERYONE needs that. and clean the spot too when you clean the spot with beer stain, put a teaspoon of washing soda in the water then let it ALL DRY then put vinegar in the cleaner and redo the room with the stain. the entire room, is important, if you wanna use it again to make beeer.
