hopping stouts

Having had a squiz at some stout recipes, and BJCP style guidlines. I note that hop aroma and flavour are considered no nos in most stout styles. Now I personally don't mind some hop aroma and flavour in some stouts. I'm curious to know if anyone out there flavour/aroma hops their stouts, if so to what degree? Any one megahopped (flavour/aroma) a stout, how did it turn out? What hop varieties work best for stouts? cheers rb
