nutmeg and rosemary

I'm relatively new to home-brewing. My interest was sparked mainly by my father, who has been brewing since I was very young. The last time he brewed, he bought supplies for me to brew a small batch of irish stout. It turned out well, though my goofs should have ruined it, according to my books. Anyway, I have been thinking about trying a nutmeg stout, but don't know what to do to accomplish this. I've also been concidering a rosemary wheat beer. Any advice? Thanks,
