out of date kit

Can a beer kit be put on if it's a year out of date or am i just wasting my time? I forgot about a Glen Brew pale ale that i bought quite a while ago and have just come across it. As you probably can guess, i'm not exactly a newbie (brewed a couple of successful beers) but not far from it. hehehe Advice please? Brew it or bin it.

TIA

Brew it, what have you got to lose? If it is successfull, then you have beer. If it fails well, you were only thinking of binning it anyway :D

You could brew it. You'll want to get some fresh yeast though. The "old" malt may give it a "cidery" taste. Give it a shot. The most you'll be out is a buck or two for the yeast and your time. :) Cheers, Michael Herrenbruck DragonTail Ale Drunken Bee Mead

...and if the final taste is not good then you can always use it as a cooking additive.

Instead of the 1 glug for the cook and 1 for the pot out of the same bottle you may need another bottle of good nectar for the cook component.
