Tap dripping

Hi,

The last beer I had in my Keg started dripping from the tap once there was very little left. At the time I didn't think too much of it.

I then put a new beer in the keg and this has started dripping almost immediately. The loss is about 1 pint every 3 days (maybe less). Because of this, I transfered everything into bottles, cleaned up and put a new tap on. I now have a stout in the keg and yet again the tap has started to drip!

Because this is a new tap, I am unsure what else I can do to stop this unholy loss....

I have tried turning the tap upside down, but this just results in it filling up before leaking over the side. Any ideas?

Thanks

what type of keg, tap, system do you have? Sounds like a bad or improperly seated seal inside the tap...disassemble, clean & carefully reassemble the tap.

Even new equipment can be defective or assembled improperly, if taking it apart & reassembling it doesn't help you may want to return/exchange it where you bought it from.

Thanks for the advice. Currently I can't do anything with the tap since the Keg is in use. However, I have found that if I don't close it all the way, this means that the hole stays more central and doesn't drip :D
